关于角色

We are looking for a passionate mentor, teacher, coach, friend to join our team at The Shed. This person should show experience working together with other mentors, teachers or staff as well as demonstrate a comfort with communicating with parents and caregivers.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure that all children, caregivers, mentors and staff are entering and participating in a safe environment and conducting themselves according to The Shed’s values.

  • Ensure the smooth day to day operation of all programs and courses at The Shed, this includes leading sessions, communicating with caregivers and session planning

  • Work closely together with the lead mentors on current and future content of programs and courses.

  • Work closely with new staff members to help them grow and develop their skill sets as a mentor.

  • Possess a curious and open mind with a willingness to pursue new avenues and opportunities for program growth and business opportunity.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience in the field of education, mentoring, counselling, coaching or similar would be highly preferred.

  • Possess an undergraduate degree in Education, Counselling, Coaching, Outdoor, Adventure learning or other relevant field would be an advantage.

  • Skillsets in Water or Rock-climbing activities are welcome.

  • Fluency in English is a must, conversational skills in Cantonese or Mandarin would be a plus.
