Main
session style
(45-minute format)
As champions of hands-on, real-world learning, we believe the best way to enhance local standards in experiential education is by embracing an experiential approach. That means fostering inclusive shared experiences and guided discussions.
So no boring lectures or sales pitches - just a stimulating environment, based around an relevant topic, where attendees from across Hong Kong's vibrant educational community can freely ask questions and exchange a diverse range of ideas and perspectives.
The focus will be on active, collaborative learning rather than passive listening. We want attendees to roll up their sleeves, get involved, and help shape the future of outdoor and experiential learning in Hong Kong.
Main sessions will be followed by facilitated, breakout discussions to help attendees make sense, discuss and bring the new ideas back to the listener's context.
Practical
Workshops
Outdoor educators love to move, be involved and try things out. We're also looking for workshop leaders to share new skills and ideas through practical, active workshop sessions.
They are a chance to share your passion and expertise. Workshops could be on:
-
enhancing your social media presence,
-
facilitation skills;
-
plant and bird ID;
-
writing risk-benefit analysis and pitching it to your boss
We want to hear about what you have to share.
What we offer
Main session and workshop leaders (45-minutes) will receive a two-day ticket to the conference.
We will assess all session submissions and make a final decision by 1st October 2025. We are searching for a diverse range of people and perspectives who are passionate about outdoor education. We welcome your submission, whether it's your first time or your fifth time!

proposal
At this stage, just submit the title, and a short description of your proposed session.
If you have further questions, feel free to add them to the submission.
