Beginning my teaching career as a primary school teacher, I quickly noticed that children were spending too much time indoors, resulting in a diminishing connection to the natural world. Now, I have transformed my focus to outdoor education, fueled by my passion for Forest schools.

I believe in the transformative power of learning beyond the classroom. My journey in education has deepened my commitment to holistic child development, where each experience can ignite curiosity, foster resilience, and promote well-being.

Currently, I am excited to channel my expertise into creating enriching outdoor learning environments. I am a Forest School leader as well as a trainer and am passionate about spreading the magic of Forest School. I am particularly passionate about Forest Schools, which provide children with hands-on experiences that cultivate a love for nature and encourage exploration. I firmly believe that outdoor education not only enhances academic learning but also nurtures social skills, emotional intelligence, and environmental stewardship.

I also enjoy working with older children and a qualified silver level AYP instructor (Award for Young People / International Duke of Edinburgh) Hiking, camping, survival skills, wood craft, navigating….I simply love what I do!

I am committed to providing opportunities for children to thrive in diverse settings, empowering them to connect with their surroundings and develop a sense of responsibility for the world around them. Together, we can inspire a generation of confident, curious, and compassionate learners.
